Princess Diana was one of the most beloved members of the British Royal Family. She was admired for her warmth, compassion and her charity work. Through her close connection with the British people, she earned the nickname 'the People’s Princess.'

Diana's influence was enormous

The whole country has been sobbing for a whole week, over the death of a woman they didn’t know, who they had never seen. This was a remarkable moment, maybe even the most fascinating moment since I’ve lived here.
